Asking for support is a sign of strength not of weakness
From that strength comes clarity, healing & growth
Find out how therapy can helpChances are, you’re not in a great place right now
You might be dealing with distress, anxiety or mental, emotional or physical pain. After all, that’s probably why you’re here.
So firstly, welcome and thank you for coming.
Many of us try to work out our problems on our own, often without very much success. We accept things that we ought not accept, and find ways to block life out or numb us from the reality of what we’re facing.
And we know, deep down, that it doesn’t really fix anything.
We all need support, and it takes great courage, strength and humility to seek out that support.
I believe our most painful moments hold potential for healing and growth.
Many people walk around wounded
They can find themselves depressed, stuck, stressed and overwhelmed.
They will often ‘manage’ these emotions through dependencies on alcohol or drugs, or fall back on ingrained behaviours which simply make the problem worse.
They find it hard to see a way out of this negative spiral, and their home life, relationships and general wellbeing start to suffer.
It’s important to see that change is possible
I am Juanita Murphy, and I have twelve years of experience helping people with addictions, anxiety, depression and trauma.
Through one-to-one counselling, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours. I can help you make sense of what’s happening, deal with the confusion and frustration and to start healing.
In turn, this healing helps you to gain more emotional balance, make more positive decisions and cope with life on life’s terms.
Are you struggling with feelings of depression or anxiety? Having difficulties with your relationships? Or are you struggling with the relationship with yourself?
